Thank you Society of Illustrators LA for a Silver in Illustration West 55 for Unpublished. Flattered to be part of this!
Rob’t puts up crazy decorations every time a new celebration season comes around. I didn’t get to finish this spread yet, but I will someday.
(edit Jan 07 : still not done hahaa!)
I can’t afford much at this stage of my life, but I can afford little wishes on cards. It was meditative writing these 🙂 Happy Holidays guys! Have a blessed and warm holiday season, wherever you are.
In-class digital live painting of the amazing Jonathan Cripple as Scrooge / Mad Scientist. Always a fun session painting him. Thanks to Justin Pichetrungsi I get to TA in this class. Jon was reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows btw, for real. “I’m at that Ministry of Magic chapter…” he told me. If I’m not mistaken, Jon actually played Mr. Ollivander for Universal Studios.
I finally got myself a Midori Traveller’s Notebook after resisting for years. Here’s a spread of one notebook insert, studying for theme park design stuffs 🙂

Light Grey Art Lab generously gilded our prints in foil for the Fortune Exhibition. I got four prints, and am keeping two, one for a friend, giving two others away for the New Year 🙂
I am thankful for all the kind souls I’ve met and grown with over these years, thankful for supportive family and friends all around the world, and of course thankful for not-so-good people that taught me what not to be. Happy Thanksgiving!
Here are some writings for a recently completed project for a Singapore project. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to say the company name, but if you ever see these in a lobby of that office, I’d love to hear about it 😉
Work in progress for Light Grey Art Lab’s Fortune Exhibition piece – The Sea Finds Out Everything You Did Wrong. Light Grey Art Lab will generously hand gilded all participating artworks with foil. 😉
Here are some unused content for a freelance a few months back. I was glad to be involved in a freelance project for a newly opened office in Singapore, and my brief was to illustrate content for a huge LED wall in their lobby that could accommodate welcome messages for their clients. I’m still not allowed to mention the office name, which was a bummer, but it’s ok, I enjoyed the work a lot.
